I <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jeff Smyser <br />P & Z MEETING DATE: January 10, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Amend Conditional Use Permit to Allow Outdoor <br />Storage of Recreational Vehicles <br />Central Suburban Inc., 416 Lilac St. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Central Suburban, Inc., submitted an application to amend its existing conditional use <br />permit (CUP) to allow storage of recreational vehicles on the site. At the Jaunuary 10 <br />meeting, the P & Z opened and closed the public hearing, then tabled the item to allow <br />the applicant to work with staff on unresolved issues. <br />Since then, the recreational vehicle firm that wanted to utilize the site decided to locate in <br />another city. Central Suburban then submitted a letter withdrawing the application for <br />amending the CUP (see attached). <br />Since the item was tabled to the February meeting, the P & Z should remove it from the <br />table and acknowledge the withdrawal of the application. Though it may seem like red <br />tape, a vote on the matter will ensure the record includes the termination of the <br />application. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Vote to remove the item from the table and acknowledge the applicant's withdrawal <br />of the application. <br />2. Return to staff with direction. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option 1 <br />
