That the proposed actions will be in keeping with the spirit and intent of the <br />ordinance. <br />• <br />• <br />The Variance requested would completely eliminate a setback, resulting in a zero side <br />yard setback. <br />In order to meet the required City Code side yard setback of five feet, a garage on the <br />proposed site would be limited to a width of 10 feet. This may or may not meet the needs <br />of the applicant. Construction of the proposed garage addition would result in a sideyard <br />setback of zero, and would be an imposition on the current and future owners of the <br />neighboring property to the north. For this reason a variance is not recommended. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve the Variance. <br />2. Deny the Variance. <br />3.
