CASCADE <br />HOUSING AND ACCENT BAND - Housing and accent band are constructed <br />from a galvanized coated steel that accepts paint without pretreatment and is <br />used to achieve superior paint adhesion. <br />WALL MOUNT - Ballast housing features a 1/2" conduit entry from the rear <br />or a close nipple can be used off of a J -box. Mount ballast housing with <br />two screw type fasteners first and wire unit. Housing and accent band are <br />designed to slip over ballast housing and secured with the same fasteners <br />used to secure ballast housing. Re- tamping is achieved by loosening two <br />screws and removing housing and accent band then removing four nuts <br />securing refractor. <br />GLOBE - Made of tempered soda lime glass with a ceramic- sprayed frosted <br />interior. Tempering improves thermal endurance and the ceramic spray <br />diffuses light without compromising glass strength. An EPDM gasketseals <br />globe to housing. <br />SOCKETS - Pulse- rated porcelain medium -base sockets. <br />LIGHT SOURCES - Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium. Clear Tamp is <br />supplied as standard. Photometric data is tested in accordance with IESNA <br />guidelines. <br />BALLASTS • High -power factor type ballast is mounted to the housing <br />reinforcing plate. The ballast is designed for -20" F operation. <br />FINISHES - Each fixture is finished with LSI 's DuraGrip polyester powder <br />coat finishing process. The DuraGrip finish withstands extreme weather <br />changes without cracking or peeling, and is guaranteed for five full years. <br />Standard colors include bronze, black, platinum plus, buff. white, green, <br />metallic silver, and graphite.
