• <br />• <br />Memo <br />Environmental <br />To: Paul Bengtson <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: 11/29/07 <br />Re: Environmental Board Recommendations of November 28, 2007 <br />Environmental Board Recommendations for <br />Vaughn First Addition <br />The following recommendations were made by the Environmental Board at the <br />November 28th Environmental Board meeting: <br />1. Location and elevations of the treatment pond must built to the verified OHW <br />and seasonally high ground water indicators with adequate (3 feet) separation <br />between the bottom of the pond and the seasonally high ground water. <br />2. This site should be designed in a treatment train approach. <br />3. The bottom of the treatment pond proposed must be at least three feet above <br />stained soil layers. <br />4. Follow the Shoreland Overlay District requirements. <br />5. A tree preservation plan has not been submitted and must be submitted <br />before any allowed soil disturbance. <br />6. The following pollution prevention measures should be taken: <br />• A concrete truck wash -out area must be indicated on the plan, and marked in <br />the field with a sign. <br />• Page 1 <br />
