The City of Lino Lakes will be among the first cities in the
Midwest to have the RecycleBank program!
RecycleBank is the premier rewards and loyalty program that motivates people to recycle and to engage in
environmentally helpful activities. The goal of RecycleBank is to motivate households to dramatically
increase their recycling efforts with RecycleBank Reward Points. When fully implemented, the RecycleBank
curbside program will measure the amount of material each participating home recycles and then convert
that into RecycleBank Reward Points that can be used at hundreds of local and national rewards partners.
We know we will succeed in bringing the BEST recycling program to Minnesota —and we'll make it
understandable, easy -to -use and rewarding! Single Sort and RecycleBank from Allied Waste will
accomplish all of this!
Many Believe RecycleBank is the Future of Recycling
Here's how it works: Every other week Allied Waste will empty the Lino Lakes homeowner's Single Sort
Recycling cart (just like we do now). When we drive up to the cart, the in -truck computer will recognize the
Radio Frequency ID Chip that is attached to the cart. That chip will relay the name and address information
from the household. The truck and computer will register the participation for that household and will later
assign an average weight of that material based on the amount of recycling collected in Lino Lakes. This
information will be compiled and loaded onto the customer's individual page on the RecycleBank website.
There are only 3 Easy Steps...
Recycle at your home
We'II collect the material Order & Redeem your rewards!
MUMS, WANTS
2
•
•
•
