ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING APRIL 28, 2009 <br />Ms. Bor questioned if the information provided this evening will be on the <br />website. It was stated yes, it will be April 29. <br />B. Storm Water Ordinance Review/ Patrick McLarnon/TKDA <br />Mr. Asleson reviewed his staff report, Agenda Item 6B, on Storm Water <br />Ordinance with the Board. His recommendation is for staff to review <br />Environmental Board comments and suggestions and incorporate them into the <br />document. <br />Mr. Studenski stated there has been a great deal of staff effort that has gone into <br />this report. The Annual Storm Water Pollution Prevention draft is presented to <br />board members this evening. Overall the draft is very solid. A couple of areas <br />that are still being worked on are to make sure this document is consistent with <br />ordinances, zoning, etc. for submittal. Staff will be meeting with the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District (RCWD) to go over the draft with them. <br />Mr. Asleson stated there are many areas that need to be tied together in this draft. . <br />What we are looking for this evening is feedback on areas the board would like to <br />see improved upon. After this review, the document will go back to staff and then <br />be presented again at the next meeting. Mr. Brown questioned if staff has looked <br />at what other cities have done. Mr. Studenski stated yes. Mr. Brown questioned <br />if there is anything unique to the City of Lino Lakes. Mr. Studenski stated <br />uniqueness is that every project has water issues. He stated most of the projects <br />deal with 100 year elevation and ground water. Mr. Asleson stated all cities are <br />addressing the same issues. <br />Ms. O'Dea questioned how the board would like to review this document. Mr. <br />Studenski stated section by section. After each section, questions will be <br />answered. Ms. O'Dea questioned if the City is working with Anoka County Parks <br />as well as RCWD.
