2. Section 1010.007 General Regulations Applicable to All Districts, subpart 13, <br />Flags, was changed to accept the alternative language "Flags symbolizing a <br />government or political subdivision, or a branch or department of a government or <br />political subdivision, US military service, or veterans organizations chartered by <br />Congress are not regulated by this chapter." <br />3. Section 1010.007, subpart 15 was added to allow for a single temporary off - <br />premise signs to be placed on a property provided that the sign is no greater than 3 <br />square feet in area, is displayed between 6:00 a.m. Thursday and 6:00 a.m. on the <br />following Monday. No permit is required for this sign. <br />This provision replaces the proposal to allow one 24 square foot off premise sign <br />on properties as part of 90 day temporary sign allowance. <br />Changes to the Sign Ordinance text is shown by either strike out or underline. Text <br />shown with a strike out is proposed to be deleted. Underlined text is new. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is requesting public comment and discussion on the proposed changes.
