J Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop Using Recycled Oak Wine Barrels Cedar hill Natives Overview Cedar Hill Natives conducts workshops for public and private organizations interested in hosting an education - based, hands -on rain barrel workshop. The workshop is designed to teach participants the personal and environmental benefits of rainwater collection, and to guide them through the construction of their own oak rain barrel. Our rain barrel workshop is unique because we use recycled oak wine barrels, which are a popular and aesthetically pleasing alternative to plastic barrels. Oak Rain Barrel Kit Rates Services Cedar Hill Natives will provide the following: • Educational instruction ♦ Informational materials ♦ Oak rain barrel kits ♦ Tools for oak rain barrel assembly The workshop host will need to provide the following: ♦ Site for the workshop with access to electrical outlets • List of participants prior to the workshop date ♦ Contact person for planning and coordination Deposit Fee To reserve a workshop date, a $100.00 deposit is required. The full deposit will be refunded upon confirmation of at least twelve paid participants. The deposit fee may be negotiable for organizations with budgetary concerns.
