8. New BMPs (iron- enhanced sand filters, SAFL Baffle, etc.) should be included in the <br />mix of BMPs in the context of the MIDS Project. <br />9. There are important issues that need to be addressed before we strongly promote <br />wide - spread implementation of infiltration. <br />• Groundwater contamination & sensitive areas <br />• PAHs — runoff from residential driveways & parking Tots <br />■ High traffic volume runoff to underground infiltration BMPs <br />• Depth to groundwater <br />• Groundwater mounding analysis <br />■ Pretreatment standards <br />■ Linkage to groundwater atlases and drinking water protection maps <br />• Mapping of inappropriate areas <br />• Drinking water protection <br />• Urban land (NRCS) <br />• Class V regulation <br />• Long term performance of infiltration BMPs <br />• Long -term maintenance obligations for infiltration BMPs <br />10.
