Invasive and /or non - native plant species will be assessed for
cover, abundance, and frequency, and will be mapped in the field with a GPS. The location and
abundance of state - listed or otherwise rare plant species will be documented in the field.
Vegetation data collected in the field will be processed and summarized in the 2nd annual
monitoring report.
Reference photographs will be taken at the fixed photo reference point set during the initial
year of monitoring of the mitigation bank site. Reference photographs will
be taken in August and will provide visual documentation of hydrologic and vegetative
conditions. These reference photographs will be provided in the 2nd annual monitoring report.
Observations regarding changes in soils or topography will be noted in the field and will be
included in the 2nd annual monitoring report.
Potential easement infractions (such as unauthorized uses, filling, etc.) will be assessed in the
field, and will be reported in the 2"d annual monitoring report.
An annual monitoring report will be prepared by the City of Lino Lakes and project consultants
and submitted to the LGU, BWSR, and USACOE in December following the second growing
season. Natural
community quality will be assessed using Minnesota DNR Natural Heritage Program Element
Occurrence Rankings and MNRAM 3.4 assessment methods. Species lists that include cover,
abundance, and frequency estimates for each species will be collected for each natural
community mapped. Invasive and /or non - native plant species will be assessed for cover,
abundance, and frequency, and will be mapped in the field with a GPS. The location and
abundance of state - listed or otherwise rare plant species will be documented in the field.
Vegetation data collected in the field will be processed and summarized in the 3rd annual
monitoring report.
