•
The previous chart only represents home games for the traveling leagues. It should be noted
however that the CSC, through the traveling program, participates in another 205 league games
outside of the communities under review. These games are played predominately in the
northern tier of the Twin Cities area, however each year we have teams that will travel to places
such as St. Cloud, Duluth, Hudson, and River Falls. It might be worth noting that had these
games been included in the analysis, the percentage of games and practice sessions provided
by the city of Lino Lakes drops from 68.0% to 58.4% well within the proportion of Lino Lakes
participants in our program.
As requested, attached to this RFI is the game schedules for 2003 and the community fields
where they took place. I hope that I have provided all of the information and if I have missed any
information requested on the RFI please do not hesitate to call me at 651.260.0933.
This was a large and insightful exercise for the club. As you can imagine, most youth sports
volunteer organizations do not conduct these types of analysis on their organization. I am
pleased that the club is not overburdening the city of Lino Lakes likewise I am sure the city is
satisfied that, for the present, it continues to provide the appropriate amount of services to the
CSC youth sports organization.
As such the club respectfully requests fields at the following locations:
❑ Rice Lake North — Full U13+ field
❑ Rice Lake South — Full U13+ field
❑ CMS North — Full U13+ field
❑ CMS Small — U12 field
• ❑ Sunrise — Small U10 field
❑ Lino Park — 2 -3 U6 -U8 sized fields
❑ Marshan Park — 2 practice areas with nets
•
As stated previously, if the city is examining the soccer field inventory and determines that some
nets may need replacing or goals require maintenance or retirement please call the club for
assistance.
Sincerely,
David Knoll
CSC President
(651) 260 -0933
dknoll@knollconsulting.com
