We will be <br />creating a small berm, plant several shade trees, and establishing turf <br />Installed park sign and landscaping at Clearwater Creek Park <br />• Installed bituminous trail in northeast area of Pheasant Hills to connect to Regional <br />Park Trail <br />• Installed trails at Birch Street/Hodgson Road intersection <br />• Installed bituminous trails at Birch Park and Sunrise Park <br />• Over- seeded soccer fields at Rice Lake Elementary and Centennial Middle <br />Schools <br />• Installed 20 bluebird houses at various park locations <br />• Coordinated landscaping projects at Marshan and Highland Meadows Parks with <br />local Boy and Girl Scouts <br />• Cut and stump treated buckthorn in Fawn Lane Trail area <br />• High risk oak removal — Removed several spore producing trees from city property <br />• Assisted Environmental Department with Oak Wilt Control <br />• Updated the 1992 Comprehensive Parks and Trails System Plan <br />Recreation <br />• Processed 3,241 registrations <br />• Special Events continue to improve: <br />Sweetheart Dance - 209 participants <br />Family Turkey Shoot - 167 teams <br />Breakfast with Santa - 200 participants <br />Snow Day - 160 participants <br />• Summer playground enrollment was highest ever at 347 participants <br />46 participants registered for summer Options program <br />Tennis program had enrollment of 171 participants <br />First -ever wrestling camp attracted 19 participants <br />• First ever volleyball academy attracted 25 participants <br />• 246 "Letters From Santa" <br />• 85 shoppers visited our Secret Holiday Shop <br />Improved youth football (310 participants) and youth soccer (412 participants) <br />programs <br />First ever TAAG Beach Party had 56 middle school -age youth participating <br />• 23 Party Wagon reservations and 22 Picnic Shelter reservations <br />
