The City has retained Brauer & Associates as part of the overall Comprehensive Park Plan update. The master plan for Baldwin Park has been included in the scope of work for Brauer & Associates. We and they are mindful of your desire to have the replacement playground equipment and hard surface court in place as quickly as possible. It will be our top priority as we begin the 2005 construction season. Our intent is to minimize the length of time the Rice Lake Estates residents are limited to the existing play structure in Baldwin Park. We desire this to be an inclusive process, as we master plan Baldwin Park to provide equipment and services to all area residents. We wish to include Lino Lakes staff and Rice Lake Estates residents in the master plan process. Please let us know how you would like to best accomplish this. We have already included a Rice Lake Estates resident on the overall task force for our Park Comprehensive Plan, as was requested by the individual resident last fall. We certainly believe it is in our mutual interest to provide the needed equipment and amenities to provide for adequate parks and recreation services for all users, irrespective of City boundaries.
