• <br />• <br />Park Board Meeting - January 3, 2006 <br />Minutes <br />The January 3, 2006 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was <br />called to order at 6:30 p.m., by Chair Lindy. <br />Roll call was taken; members present were Pam Taschuk, Katie <br />Boyle, Aaron Frederickson, Pat Huelman, Bill Kusterman and George <br />Lindy. Members absent were Paul Montain. <br />Also present was Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director and <br />Sandie Wood, Public Services Department Office Manager. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM NOVEMBER 7, 2005: <br />George Lindy made a correction on Page 3, third line from the <br />bottom. It read "dirt bike trail" and is should have read <br />"mountain bike trail ". Bill Kusterman made a motion to approve <br />the minutes, seconded by Pam Taschuk. The minutes were approved <br />with the corrections on Page 3. <br />SETTING AGENDA: <br />There were no changes to the agenda. <br />OPEN MIKE: <br />No one was present for open mike. <br />DISCUSS AND APPROVE the 2006 PARK BOARD GOALS: <br />The Park Board began discussing possible projects for the 2006 <br />Park Board Goals at the November 7, 2005 Park Board Meeting. <br />Rick summarized the items listed below. Rick provided more <br />detailed information regarding the proposed goals at the meeting. <br />He also handed out a December 31, 2005 Park Dedication Fund <br />Summary. <br />Birch Street Trail in front of Rice Lake <br />Elementary School connecting both trails <br />along north side of Birch Street and <br />underpass <br />($170,000) <br />Pheasant Hills Bridge directly north of ($ 40,000) <br />Pheasant Hills Park <br />Open air shelter at Behm's Park <br />Open air shelter at Highland Meadows Park <br />Re- master Planning Country Lakes Park <br />Re- master Planning Lino Park <br />($ 30,000) <br />($ 30,000) <br />($ 5,000) <br />($ 5,000) <br />Bill asked if Rick has received inquires on the Birch Street <br />Trail.
