I have had a chance to see the shelter at Highland Meadows Park. I think that it
IIIlooks really nice and I hope that the kids /staff enjoyed it during the park program this
past summer.
•
There are two issues that I think need to be addressed by the Board. First, I thin that
thee needs to be some follow -up per my prior e -mails regarding the development that is
ongoing up on I -35E near Centerville. I have some strong concerns about the development
of parks /green space in the development, and I think this was the general consensus at the
all board meeting several months ago.
Secondly, I would like to revisit the issue of the former Rice Lake Estates Park. It was
my understanding that the City of Circle Pines was going to add additional park equipment
at the park near Rice Lake Estates location. I think the equipment that was added was
great. However, Circle Pines has now removed the old equipment that was located at this
location. I think this efficiently leaves us where we were before and I am quite
disappointed. I would like this issue to be addressed at the next meeting. ./
Thank you.
- -Aaron P.
