• Park Board Meeting — January 7, 2008 Minutes the existing trail along Otter Lake Road to the existing trail at Elmcrest (City of Hugo Trail System) based on figures staff would submit to the Park Board. Seconded by Pam Taschuk and approved. Pat told the Park Board that the Friends of the Park Foundation is disbanding and a donation of a few thousand dollars will be given to the Parks Department for future project(s). New Business: 10a. 2008 Park Board Vacancies: Rick took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the outgoing Park Board Members for their service to the City of Lino Lakes. Mr. Paul Montain has been a Park Board Member since 1996 and has provided city staff and Board Members with a wealth of history and knowledge that has been beneficial during his tenure. Mrs. Katie Boyle served on the Park Board since 2002 and provided her knowledge and a fair perspective on the recent development of the city's parks and trail system. Mrs. Kathi Gallup is vacating her current Park Board position due to her recent election to the City Council. Congratulations Kathi! He said the city is accepting applicants for all advisory board vacancies until January 14, 2008. He asked that if members knew anyone interested in serving on the Park Board to have them contact Dan Tesch or himself.
