'�C ►�'t D Clearwater Creek Park Tennis Wall Survey — June, 2011 Listed below are the responses received on the returned surveys. • I hope it will be weather resistant and will be maintained. • Great idea! We'd use it all the time! • How long does plywood last before it needs to be replaced? How many people are looking for this? Hopefully more than 1 family. Nice addition for variety. • I believe the proposed wall will obstruct the view, be noisy with balls on plywood and be unsafe with balls going in street and children running out onto street in the curved area. • Was this sent to only Clearwater Creek residents or to all city residents? What is the cost? That might change my answer. • I think this would be great! • I don't like the idea of using plywood, which warps and degrades. I feel it will quickly become an eyesore in this nice, well maintained neighborhood. • There are many children in the neighborhood that would benefit from the tennis wall. I have two children that would use this wall. • This would disrupt the view of the park and be an eyesore. It would also be the perfect location for teenaged hoodlums to tag with graffiti. • Think a complete tennis would be great. Also, know it does cost, I know! Park is nice, but not much for us "Big Kids ". • I would love to see a full tennis court placed next to the basketball court. • Will be difficult to maintain and will be in disrepair after first few years. • Would seem to be an eyesore in this park. • We would like to see a tennis court built on the north side of the 1/2 court basketball court. A tennis wall would be hard to use because the basketball court is used fairly frequently. Our family would definitely use a tennis court.
