We have 125 <br />participants registered for summer tennis. <br />• Our Baseball camp ended June 23 and we had 60 ball players in one of the annual summer's best Lino <br />Lakes camp! <br />• Cougar Soccer Camp ran June 27 —June 30 and we had 70 youth soccer players registered which has <br />• been an annual camp as well. <br />• <br />• We have over 175 kids signed up for our Soccer Fundamentals class. In this class the young soccer <br />players are learning the basic skills of soccer while playing fun games. <br />• Youth and adult golf lessons are in full swing and our golf instructor Phil Biesanz has been busy <br />teaching the finer points of golf. <br />• Youth Golf Academy is once again being offered and we have 40+ participants taking part in the 5 day <br />academy. Each golfer plays 9 holes on Friday to complete the camp! <br />• Skyhawks Academy just finished a youth Flag Football Camp last week! 18 participants enjoyed a full <br />week of football skills and fun! <br />• Adult Softball is past the summer season's midway point and the weather has not cooperated! We will <br />be needing some good weather and a few make -ups dates to finish the season. We have 27 adult <br />softball teams playing in Lino Lakes this summer <br />• Fall Soccer and Football sign -ups have started at City Hall. We expect 400 youth soccer players and <br />350 youth football players to register by the middle of July! The season for both sports will start in <br />Mid - August! <br />• The Playground Program and Preschool Playtime are off to a great start. <br />o The Playground Program is full at four of our eight sites. We have 25 top -notch staff on hand <br />this year to spend the summer with the children! Theme weeks this year include: Jungle Safari, <br />Culinary Creations (all about healthy eating and being active), Yankee Doodle Dandy and more! <br />Participants will also be visited by a Lino Lakes Police Officer, Wargo Naturalist and Centennial <br />Fire Fighter as well as our own Art Specialists. <br />
