We had just enough snow this year to host the 12th annual Snow Day event at Wargo Nature <br />Center. Over 600 people enjoyed outdoor activities, crafts and a live animal show. <br />Our annual Sweetheart Party was held on February 3 at Centennial Elementary. This event is a <br />collaborative between Blaine and Centennial Community Services. Over 100 participants and their <br />"dates" enjoyed a night of dancing and crafts! <br />• Super Hero Camp was held for the second year at Blue Heron Elementary. We had over 60 little <br />super heroes spend the night enjoying super hero themed carnival games and crafts. <br />• A Senior Appreciation Lunch held in December was enjoyed by over 60 Senior Center <br />participants. Another lunch is schedule for May! <br />• The Senior Center is busy with a variety of card groups, book club and numerous outings to <br />various locations throughout the metro area. Some upcoming trips include: A Mystery Tour, <br />Plymouth Playhouse, Harriet Island Showboat and the History Theater. <br />• Upcoming Events: Princess Party, Spring Fling, Kite Day and more! <br />• The spring /summer brochure is out and registrations are coming in for a variety of summer <br />programs. Resident registration begins on March 1. <br />• Interviews for seasonal staff are scheduled to take place the week of March 12. We anticipate <br />another competitive year of high quality staff. <br />• <br />• <br />
