CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 -02 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CIRCLE -LEX LIONS APPLICATION <br />FOR 1 -DAY CONSUMPTION & DISPLAY PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 340, allows a city to issue a 1 -day permit <br />for the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor to a non -profit organization in <br />conjunction with a social activity in the city sponsored by the organization, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has made application to hold their annual fund- <br />raising event at St. Joseph Catholic Church on April 5, 2003, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has paid the $25.00 fee, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the Circle -Lex <br />Lions Club, and <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requests the City of Lino <br />Lakes to approve or deny this application by resolution <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club is in compliance with City ordinance, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the request by the Circle -Lex Lions Club for a 1 -day consumption & display <br />permit . <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of January, 2003 <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />• <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />
