• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 -20 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE LOIS LANE UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has received a petition from residents on Lois Lane, <br />west of Highland Meadows West and north of Country Lane, requesting preparation of a <br />study on the feasibility of extending sanitary sewer and water service to their properties, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in response to this petition, it is proposed to improve Lois Lane from the <br />Highland Meadows West subdivision to the west by constructing sanitary sewer and <br />watermain improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 <br />of the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and <br />that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made <br />as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated <br />cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of February, 2003. <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />John J.
