CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 -27 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT <br />BLACK DUCK LIFT STATION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Black <br />Duck Lift Station, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Bidder <br />Northdale Construction <br />Magney Construction <br />Barbarossa & Sons <br />Lametti & Sons <br />Jay Brothers <br />Amount <br />$289,920.01 <br />$333,582.00 <br />$361,845.00 <br />$377,000.00 <br />$404,869.90 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Co., Inc., of Rogers, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached <br />contract with Northdale Construction Co., Inc., of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of <br />the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement of the Black Duck Lift Station according <br />to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the city council and on file in <br />the office of the city clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to retum forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th day of February, 2003. <br />John J.
