Pecchia <br />Public Safety Director /Chief of Police <br />DATE July 28, 2003 <br />TOPIC <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 03 -113 <br />Accepting Donation from Ladies Auxiliary <br />VFW Post #6583 to provide bus <br />transportation for the Rice Lake <br />Elementary School Safety Patrol Event. <br />VOTES REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 has donated $200.00 to <br />the City of Lino Lakes to defray the cost of bus <br />transportation for the Rice Lake Elementary School Safety <br />Patrol program. The school patrol students are awarded a <br />trip to the Mall of America /Camp Snoopy in appreciation for <br />their dedication to the school safety program enjoying Camp <br />Snoopy for a day of amusement and rides. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt Resolution No. 03 - 113 accepting the donation. <br />2. Return the Resolution to staff for further information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
