MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 7 E <br />Jeff Smyser <br />August 25, 2003 <br />Resolution 03 -136 <br />Approving Comprehensive Plan Amendment: <br />Northeast Corner of Lake Drive and Aqua Lane <br />4/5 <br />Hokanson Development has submitted a request for a comprehensive plan amendment. <br />The subject site is approximately four acres of property at the northeast corner of Lake <br />Drive and Aqua Lane, adjacent to the existing Marshan Lake Townhomes. The request is <br />to change the land use category from Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential. This would be consistent with the adjacent development. <br />A comprehensive plan amendment requires a 4/5 vote. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Land Use, Density, Zoning <br />The site is within the existing MUSA and within a Stage 1 growth area.
