Mr. Schilling noted there are also different types of footings and systems that <br />could address poor soil types. <br />Mr. Lyden stated he respects everyone's opinion and would like a vote taken tonight. <br />Mr. Corson asked where the septic system is located. Mr. Lyden stated his first pole barn <br />location choice would have been to the north, however, the septic system is on the north <br />side and he wanted to keep his options open in case he needs a new septic system. <br />Mr. Rafferty made a MOTION to recommend approval of the variance request of Chris <br />Lyden, 6275 Holly Drive, to construct a 34 -foot by 64 -foot pole barn on his 4.07 acres at <br />6275 Holly Drive based on the rationale that the variance criteria are met and conditioned <br />on the following: <br />1. Mr. Rafferty answered <br />affirmatively. <br />Motion failed 3 ayes (Lane, Rafferty, Zych), 3 nays (Corson, Schilling, Chair Schaps), 1 <br />abstain (Johnson since he was not present for a portion of the discussion). <br />
