Motion carried unanimously, 6 -0. <br />D. Sign Ordinance Amendment - Continuation of Public Hearing <br />Chair Schaps opened the continued public hearing regarding the sign ordinance <br />amendment at 9:37 p.m. <br />Mr. Gelbmann stated that he has several questions regarding the proposed <br />language in the amendment. <br />Mr. Gelbmann made a MOTION to further table this matter and was supported <br />by Dunn. <br />Mr. Dunn stated that he has questions about the regulation of traffic signs, <br />daycare signs, garage sale signs and "House for Sale" signs which he will further <br />discuss with staff. <br />illThe motion carried unanimously, 6 -0. <br />• <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />Mr. Wessel noted receipt of a letter regarding architectural guidelines for the <br />master plan effort for the Town Center. Ultimately architectural design issues will <br />end up with the Planning & Zoning Board. He suggested a March meeting to <br />present a preview of what is being drafted by the committee. <br />Chair Schaps noted a public forum meeting March 13, for residents to respond to <br />the task force presentation of the village plan in Districts 1 and 2. <br />Mr. Johnson asked if the name has been officially adopted. Mr. Wessel <br />explained that the quadrant has been referred to as Town Center in the past. <br />The use of the name village is informal to designate that particular quadrant. <br />Mr. Johnson requested that Lino Lakes be incorporated into the name, so that <br />the development is identified with the City. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Johnson made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 p.m. and was <br />supported by Ms. Dahl. The motion passed unanimously, 6 -0. <br />
