• <br />• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />September 13, 1995 <br />Ms. Wyland noted the proposed dwelling can be located on <br />the lot so as to conform to the setback requirements of <br />the Zoning district and Shoreland Management Ordinance. <br />The structure will be located on the lot to blend with <br />the adjacent homes. In relations to the adjacent homes, <br />the structure to be moved in appears to be of equal or <br />greater value. <br />Ms. Wyland indicated the Building Official has inspected <br />the dwelling to be relocated and indicates that it is <br />approximately 25 years old with a new cedar shake roof. <br />The electrical and mechanical systems are up to code. <br />Ms. Wyland indicated staff recommend approval of this <br />request with the following conditions: <br />1. Proper building permits be obtained prior to <br />construction. <br />2. Sewer and water utilities be extended to serve <br />the site or an on -site system be designed by an <br />authorized septic system designer and approved by <br />the City Engineer prior to the issuance of any <br />building permits. <br />3. The new dwelling shall be located on the lot so <br />as to blend with the adjoining residential homes <br />and conform to all setback requirements. <br />Bill Johnson made a MOTION to approve Application 95-26 - <br />S, Carl Buechler, 6974 Lake Drive, Site Plan Review to <br />Move House into City and was supported by Rick.Gelbmann. <br />All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />VI. DISCUSSION: Ms. Wyland indicated the Commissioners <br />should have received a final report from the 20/20 Vision <br />Community Group. If the Board desires to have the <br />chairman of the various committees scheduled at one of <br />its meetings, staff could do so. <br />Ms. Wyland noted the Park Board has scheduled discussion <br />with the Parks Advisory Group Chairperson. <br />Ms. Wyland indicated perhaps the Chair and Co -Chair of <br />the Growth and Development Committee could present their <br />recommendations and if the Board had any questions, they <br />could ask at that time. <br />Chair Schaps indicated that would be appropriate. <br />Ms. Wyland also reported that the property owner and <br />contractor have responded to her letter concerning <br />placement of dirt on the corner of Birch and Hodgson <br />Road. Apparently the stockpiling is very temporary in <br />nature and should contain about 1400 cubic yards by <br />
