Mr. Schones then made a MOTION <br />and was supported by Mr. Mesich to deny the request as <br />submitted and encourage the applicant to record the 5 <br />acre split previously approved. All voted aye. Motion <br />carried. <br />93 -13 -ACUP, Northern Instrument, 6680 Hwy 49, Amended <br />Conditional Use Permit <br />Mary Kay Wyland reviewed this request which is to <br />construct a 40 x 74 building addition to enclose the <br />existing shipping and receiving area. The property is <br />Zoned GB, General Business, and an Amended Conditional <br />Use Permit is required according to our Site Plan Review <br />Ordinance because the proposed exterior is metal clad. <br />Staff has reviewed this request with the Building <br />Inspector and Fire Chief and would recommend approval <br />with the following conditions: <br />1. Proper building permits be obtained prior to <br />construction. <br />2. Permits be obtained from Rice Creek Watershed <br />District, if necessary. <br />3. The exterior of the structure blend with the existing <br />building. <br />After some discussion Ed Schones made a motion <br />recommending approval with the conditions indicated above <br />and was supported by John Landers. All voted aye. <br />Motion carried. <br />93 -14 -P, St. Joseph Cemetery, 171 Elm St., Subdivision <br />Mary Kay Wyland reviewed this request which is to combine <br />three existing parcels of property containing the St. <br />Joseph Cemetery, and file a "Hardshell " copy with the <br />County. The purpose of this subdivision is to allow the <br />church to officially dedicate the cemetery property. <br />Staff has reviewed the request and would recommend <br />approval. Tom Mesich made a motion recommending approval <br />and was supported by Ed Schones. All voted aye. Motion <br />carried. <br />V. DISCUSSION ITEMS: <br />A. Kathy Nordine asked that the Planning & Zoning Board <br />consider reviewing the existing parking regulations and <br />modifying them to restrict parking of vehicles on <br />residential lots to front yard driveway surfaces or some <br />
