November 9, 1983 <br />Mr. Cody moved to approve the minutes of October 12, 1983 be approved <br />as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Goldade. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IBUILDING OFFICIAL'S REPORT <br />Mr. Kluegel gave his report, updating the P & Z on the actions of the <br />Council and presenting information on a workshop. Mr. Kluegel also <br />requested that Item #7 - P & Z Information Update - be deleted from <br />discussion for this meeting. <br />DOUGLAS BOE - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />This Conditional Use Permit is for the installation of a septic system <br />at his building site in an unsewered area. Mr. Goldade moved to <br />recommend approval of an on -site septic system for Mr. Douglas Boe <br />at 484 Lilac Street. Seconded by Mr. Doocy. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Doocy asked when the occupancy permit will be issued - has escrow <br />monies been received for that street and how far will it go? Mr. Doocy <br />pointed out that the P & Z had approved the site and building plans <br />in September and then noticed in October that the Conditional Use <br />Permit for the septic system had not been considered - he felt it was <br />just a matter of timing. <br />BILL FLANAGAN - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - STORAGE BUILDING <br />This request has been continued from the October, 1983 agenda. The <br />letter from Mr. Short was referred to for compliance. The P & Z asked <br />what would be stored at that location and Mr. Flannagan said a couple <br />cars, dump truck - these items on a temporary basis. There was <br />discussion on the area to be blacktopped - how big? <br />Mr. Prokop asked how long the vehicles will be parked there - one week? <br />Usually? All the time? <br />Mr. Goldade moved to recommend approval of the Conditional Use Permit <br />for Mr. Bill Flannagan at 908 Orange Street with the following stipu- <br />lations; I) proper setbacks of outside storage will be maintained at <br />10 feet from the neighbor's fence. Seconded by Mrs. Klaus. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />3 <br />RACETRACK PROPOSAL - JOANNE GALLAHER <br />Ms. Gallaher presented the proposal for a race track for the W. & G. <br />Rehbein property located North of Main Street between 20th Avenue <br />and 135E. This proposal had been presented to the City Council at <br />their last meeting. The Council had taken no action on this proposal <br />but had suggested that it be presented to the P & Z. <br />Ms. Gallaher presented the plan to the P & Z for their information and <br />consideration. The Board members had some questions which were answered. <br />Mr. Prokop thanked her for the information and wished them good luck <br />with the proposal. <br />
