November 9, 1984 Mr. Doocy asked about the annual fee for a kennel license - which is $50.00. He also pointed out that the ordinance provides that dogs in a kennel do not have to be licensed. Mr. Doocy pointed out that in his motion he required the licensing of the dogs - he withdrew that portion of his motion. Mr. Cody accepted the withdrawal. The motion carried with Mrs. Klaus abstaining and Mr. Prokop voting, No. He felt there is a problem with the property being classified as ER and use as Rl. Mr. Cody felt each dog should have a license and should have their rabies shots. Mr. Goldade suggested this matter be forwarded to Mr. Short for research. FOREST TAGG - SITE AND BUILDING PLANS REVIEW Mr. Chris Tagg presented the plans for the construction of a cold storage building. Mr. Kluegel explained this is in conjunction with the sand blasting business located at Lake Drive and I35W. This does not need a conditional use permit since this building will be used for storage only with no employees in the building. There was a question of the parking lot surfacing for this building but it was explained there is no parking since there will be no customers nor employees in this building. Mrs. Klaus asked about the timing of the construction and Mr. Tagg said right away and would be finished in a week. Mrs. Klaus moved to recommend approval of these site and building plans for Forest Tagg on Lake Drive with the recommendation that the areas for parking and driveway to the building be indicated and proposed surfacing be noted before this goes to the City Council. Seconded by Mr. Ostlie. Motion carried unanimously. FIRST STATE BANK OF LINO LAKES - SITE AND BUILDING PLANS Mr. Jim Schaffer presented the plans for the expansion of the Bank located at 7984 Lake Drive. There was discussion on the driveway entrance since the bank will be expanding to the South. The zoning on the land is GB. Mr. Cody felt the application meets all the requirements and moved to recommend approval of the site and building plans for the Bank located at 7984 Lake Drive. Seconded by Mr. Doocy. Mr. Goldade added that the surface drainage system should be shown on the plans before it is presented to the Council. Motion carried unanimously. WELDON HENDRICKSON - TEMPORARY MOBILE BUSINESS SIGN Mr. Hendrickson explained that he had appeared before the Council on October 24, 1983 to explain the existence of this sign. He told the Planning and Zoning that this is a sign on a semi - trailer parked in his pasture advertising his horse farm. 5
