Planning and Zoning Board <br />February 3, 1982 <br />Page Two <br />eloccupy a portion of that building, the children would be endangered by using <br />the parking lot for a play ground. There was some questions on the description <br />of the property being different - the application did not read the same as the <br />official survey. <br />Mr. McLean moved to recommend approval of the Rezone from R -1 to R -3 of Parcel <br />"B" as noted on the survey and allow:'the operation of a 4 -Plex at that location, <br />Driveway access be for the 4 -plex only with no other business to take place in <br />the drivegay access specificall not to be used for parking at the 49 Club. <br />Seconded by Mr. Prokop. <br />The motion was amended to state that the driveway to service the building will <br />enter from County Road J. - the 55.4 feet South boundary only and Mrs. Klaus <br />added, an additional reason for the rezone is to privide a buffer zone for <br />R -1 on the West of the property and the Commercial on the East. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to recommend that a Public Hearing be set on this matter. <br />Seconded by Mr. Juleen. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Nathe was requested <br />to attend the Council meeting on February 22, 1982, <br />ALCOCK ESTATES - JOSEPH ALCOCK <br />Mr. Alcock appeared before the board with _a request to sell one acre lot in <br />an ER zone - this requires a minimum of 5 acres in the ER District. After <br />illtome discussion, the Planning and Zoning Board recommended that Mr. Alcick <br />ait until the new zoning ordinance is adopted, <br />CHANGE OF MEETING DATE. <br />In order for Planning and Zoning Board items to be forwarded to the Council, <br />it is advisable for the meeting date to be changed from the 3rd Wednesday of <br />the month to the 2nd Wednesday of the month. <br />The City Administrator was authorized to contact the Civil Defense Director to <br />request a change of the Civil Defense meeting dates 'with the Planning and <br />Zoning Board. If able to switch, the next Planning and Zoning Board meeting <br />will be held on the 21d Wednesday of March. <br />Mr. McLean requested all materials for Planning and Zoning be complete and <br />accurate and be delivered no later than Friday before the Wednesday meeting. <br />Mayor Benson welcomed the new members of the Planning and Zoning Board and <br />reviewed their responsibilities and discussed the importance of their decisions. <br />Planning and Zoning Board members reviewed their earlier discussion concerning <br />stipend adjustments. This issue will be presented to the City Council for ^w . <br />nput and direction. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Doocy. Aye. <br />
