Planning and Zoning Board <br />�� December 16, 1981 <br />IThe regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called <br />to order by Chairman Doocy with the following members present; Swistoski, <br />Klaus, Prokop. Al9see 3- JehRseR. Mr. Johnson arrived a few minutes late. <br />MINUTES <br />Mr. Prokop moved to approve the minutes of November 18, 1981 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mrs. Klaus. Motion carried unanimously. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REPORT <br />Mr. Schumacher reported that the Council had discussed the honorauium request <br />and had asked that a survey of other communities be done - not only in re- <br />ference to the Planning and Zoning Board but for the other Boards as well. <br />The matter of the rules and regulations for the operation of an Auction Barn <br />had been referred back to the Planning and Zoning Board with the suggestion <br />that this Board formulate an Ordinance governing this type of operation. <br />The rezoning request by Mr. Hansen had been denied as per the Planning and <br />Zoning Board's recommendations. <br />The land owner's in Lakes Add. #1 have been informed by mail of the rules <br />that must be followed in order to build on those lots. <br />The County Highway Depatment has been contacted with the concerns about <br />4Ilpedestrian crossings near the ice cream shops. <br />The Special Use Permit list was consulted and discussed. Mr. Schumacher <br />reported that there will need to be some modifications in the use of this <br />method for allowing - say, construction such as the Bank. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT - GLENN REHBEIN <br />This is a proposal as an amendment to the Special Use Permit for the con- <br />struction of a 40' addition to the shop portion of the building. Mr. <br />Schumacher reported that all the required factors had been complied with at <br />the time of the original construction. This is for the purpose of storing <br />equipment inside rather than in the yard as is presently being done. <br />Mr. Johnson reported that he had a phone call from Mrs. Reinhold concering <br />the litagation currently in progress on this operation. <br />Mr. Doocy said this litagation is a civil matter and does not affect the <br />City. <br />There was discussion on the present use of the land, whether it is consistent <br />with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, the zoning of the land and the <br />classification of the useage. <br />Mr. Kluegel commented on the plans as presented. He reported that they con - <br />illform to the State Building Code. <br />Mr. Johnson moved to recommend approval of the amended Special Use Permit <br />for Mr. Glenn Rehbein for the addition of a 40 foot section to his existing <br />buildings to be used for storage of equipment. Seconded by Mr. Swistoski. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
