• <br />December 17, 1980 <br />Planning and Zoning <br />Page Four <br />Mr. Peterson was represented by Mr. Bil Erhart who explained that Mr. <br />Peterson was to construct a 40x64 pole building on his 20 acres to house his <br />farm machinery. This building to be used only for the storage of equipment <br />and not animals. Mr. Ernster, who lives to the North, is objecting since <br />this building is in front of his picture window. <br />The discussion centered on the impact this building would have on this <br />resident. <br />Mr. Kluegel pointed out the section in Ordinance #56 that deals with new <br />farming operations and the P &Z for a clairfication of that section. <br />Mr. Doocy moved to table this matter pending a written opinion from the <br />City Attorney. Seconded by Mr. Prokop. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Roger Acton's request for rezoning was considered. This parcel of land <br />is North of Cedar Street and West of 135E and the rezoning for LI is being <br />requested. <br />Mr. Acton explained he has no plans for the development of this land and the <br />zoning classification is necessary for the installation of bill boards. <br />Mr. Reinert asked that this matter be tabled for more information as to how <br />this can best be handled. <br />�Mr. Johnson moved to table Mr. Acton's request for rezone pending confirma- <br />tion from Mr. Locher as to the ability of the P &Z to put stipulations on <br />property rezoned. Seconded by Mr. Prokop. Motion carried. <br />Under new business, the Comprehensive Plans of Blaine, White Bear Township, <br />Ramsey and Anoka County were discussed. Mr. Short said there are some <br />areas of concerns and felt there should be noted in a letter to the <br />community in questions. <br />Mr. Schumacher said he needed a motion from this board that they had <br />considered the revisions and recommendations of the planner and to forward <br />them to the Council to be discussed with the concerns as noted by the <br />Planner of major interest. Mr. Prokop so moved. Seconded by MR. Doocy. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Johnson moved to adjourn. Seconded by Prokop. Aye <br />• <br />
