Chairperson Fred Chase called the Planning and Zoning Board to
order at 7:00 P.M. on February 19, 1992 at the Lino Lakes City
Hall.
#1. Answering to roll -call were Al Robinson, John Bergeson, Fred
Chase, Robert King and Monika Slatten.
Other consultants /staff present were Darrell Schneider, City
Engineer; John Powell and Ian Burrell, Consulting Engineers; Public
Works Director, Don Volk; Alan Brixius, Consulting Planner; and
support person Joyce Lund.
#2. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES OF 12 -11 -91
Monika Slatten moved to accept the minutes of the 12 -11 -91 meeting.
Robert King seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously.
ADDITION OF NEW AGENDA ITEM
Chairperson Fred Chase proposed to add a new agenda item
P & Z #92 -02 Minor Subdivision /Variance for Susan Augustine as
agenda item 3A. Al Robinson made the motion to add the agenda item
as 3A, Robert King seconded the motion and the motion carried
unanimously.
OPEN MIKE
There was no one in the audience to appear at OPEN MIKE.
#3A. CONSIDERATION OF MINOR SUBDIVISION /VARIANCE FOR SUSAN
AUGUSTINE P & Z 92 -02.
Darrell Schneider addressed the Board on behalf of Susan Augustine,
6591 Elmcrest Avenue. Apparently there was a larger lot split
prior to 1985. An East - West, line of Parcels C -1 and C -2 on a
current survey, passes through a garage presently built on Parcel
C -2.
In order for Parcel C -1 to be sold (there is a buyer) it is
necessary to either move the garage (at a cost of $2,000.00) or
realign the lot line.
By moving the lot line 28.08 feet to the south, the garage on
Parcel C -2 will be 10.3 feet north of the moved lot line. Yet
there will be 30 feet of width added to Parcel C -1, which in the
future could be added to a 30 foot width from Parcel C -2 to provide
a 60 foot wide road.
The variance is needed to add the dimensions of the width of the
parcel as it is reduced from 58.08 feet to 30 feet.
1
1
1
