I <br />Lino Lakes Public Services Department <br />600 Town Center Parkway <br />Lino Lakes, MN 55014 <br />(651) 982 -2440 Fax (651) 982 -2439 <br />2001 PARK BOARD GOALS <br />Staff Recommendations <br />PARKS <br />Quail Ridge Park — Up to $200,000 <br />The Quail Ridge development was final platted in 1993. This 6 acre park was <br />master planned in February of 1998 and has not been developed yet. <br />Marshan Park Development - $15,000 <br />Includes seeding, ditch work, irrigation, and landscaping. Already have $9,200 <br />remaining from November, 2000 Park Board meeting. <br />Behm's Park Development - $15,000 <br />Includes landscaping, irrigation, development of 50' wide segment from Mustang <br />Lane, and development of Mustang /Palomino intersection. The only remaining <br />significant amenity is 1/2 court basketball court. <br />Clearwater Creek Park Development — Up to $100,000 <br />Begin development of this park perhaps including earthwork, grading, irrigation <br />seeding, and some landscaping. <br />LaMotte Park Playground - $30,000 <br />For the installation of new playground equipment at Lamotte Park. Cost includes <br />playground equipment, swings, border, safety surface. Park maintenance staff and <br />neighborhood volunteers will install the equipment. <br />Wheels Project <br />There is currently $10,000 in designated funds. Earlier this year, the Park Board <br />requested that this item be discussed at the 2001 Goal setting meeting. <br />TRAILS <br />Birch Park Trail - $40,000 <br />To connect Trapper's Crossing development to Birch Park. This trail connection will <br />require tiered steps and boardwalk to traverse steep slope and wetland areas. <br />$15,000 has already been designated for land acquisition and development. <br />Pheasant Hills Park Trail Connection - $40,000 <br />This trail segment connects Pheasant Hills Park to Sherman Lake Road. This trail <br />was platted in the 11th Addition. This will consist of a bridge to cross the creek and <br />
