DRAFT 11 -26 -02 <br />approximately two miles of hard surface walking trails. Costs for such facilities shall be paid by <br />the District. <br />lc. Blue Heron Elementary <br />The District, in 2002 -03 will construct the following improvements at Blue Heron <br />Elementary at District expense: one (1) softball field and one (1) youth soccer field. Costs for <br />such facilities shall be paid by the District. <br />2. The District shall be responsible for the routine resurfacing of the tennis courts and track. <br />3. The City will construct and apply the bituminous surfacing to all walking /biking trails located <br />and directly connected to Rice Lake Elementary School. <br />4. The District shall provide the maintenance and water for the irrigation system at the Middle <br />School, Rice Lake and Blue Heron at no cost to the City. <br />5. Water for irrigation systems at Rice Lake Elementary will be supplied by the City, metered by <br />the District. The District will be billed for this water at the same rate as the water billing to the <br />City parks and recreation department. <br />6. The District shall carry liability insurance during all times the parks /recreation and gym spaces <br />are used with individuals, other than activities under the direction, control and /or supervision of <br />the City. The District shall name the City as an additional insured on such policy. (The liability <br />coverage shall not be less $600,000 per occurrence. It is further agreed that if the statutory <br />liability limitations for either the City or the District should change, the parties shall provide <br />liability insurance in not less than the statutory limitations provided by statute.) <br />2 <br />
