4 • COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 27, 2000 Mayor Bergeson asked if the dollars needed to implement the system is a one -time fee. Staff advised the funding is necessary only one time to implement the system. Staff advised they anticipate the City has already spent its share of the implementation cost. Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 00 — 38, as presented. PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER Consideration of Resolution No. 00 — 34, Accepting Mountain Enterprises Donation for Kite Day, Rick DeGardner — Staff advised the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department will be holding its fifth Kite Day event on Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Rice Lake Elementary School. This event is free to children in the Quad City area. It is great fun to see the children and their families assemble the kites and fly them. In previous years the kites were donated to the Lino Lakes Park vendor. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT, BRIAN WESSEL SECOND READING, Ordinance No. 04 — 00, Offering the Sale of Property in the Apollo Business Park to Nol -Tec Systems Inc. (3/5 Vote Required), Mary Divine - Staff advised this is the SECOND READING of an ordinance to sell .79 acres of land in the Apollo Business Park to Nol- Tec Systems. The company is interested in holding this site for future expansion. The City and Nol- Tec agreed to a purchase price of $41,900, plus assessments. Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the SECOND READING, of Ordinance No. 04 — 00, as presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion.
