• <br />• <br />• <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />March 6, 2000 <br />Rick advised he does not have site grading information on the <br />strip of land between the two ponds. He will discuss that issue <br />with the City Engineer. <br />Pat stated a trail in that location will help direct traffic. <br />Also, a trail between the ponds would allow direct access for <br />half the homes in the development. He referred to the map and <br />pointed out the location of a possible trail. <br />Paul added that when the six lots split there is the possibility <br />of twelve additional houses. The potential amount of use for <br />Outlot C is another concern. <br />Chair Lindy asked about the homes across the Mardon Acres <br />Development. Rick advised there are homes 1 the way across <br />that edge. The homes were built in 1982. <br />Pam noted there is potential for a trail o ' of Bluebill Lane if <br />the access is placed off of Woodduck <br />Jeff expressed concern regarding '1 in the backyards of too <br />many homes. <br />Paul expressed concern regardi e number of homes that will be <br />using Outlot C for recreati.. rposes. <br />Chair Lindy stated that c ly the Park Board is saying the <br />area needs trail connect 1 H.wever, the streets may be <br />realigned. He asked out location where Street E ends. <br />Rick advised that real stically there is only a southerly access <br />until the two parcels t the north are developed. There is 30' <br />allowed for limited access to the park. <br />Jeff expressed concern regarding having an isolated park like <br />Birchwood Acres. <br />Chris asked what the cash dedication will be used for. Rick <br />advised the Park Board should dedicate the cash for this <br />development for the future Highland Meadows Park. The cash <br />dedication will not allow for completion of the park, but will be <br />a good start to begin development of the park. <br />Chris asked where residents will park. Rick advised that a <br />temporary cul -de -sac can be developed for parking until the lots <br />to the north are developed. <br />3 <br />
