Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department
600 Town Center Parkway
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
(651) 982 -2440 Fax (651) 982 -2439
February 14, 2000
Dear Residents:
New playground equipment is scheduled this year for Brandywood Park. Playground equipment
proposals will be on display at City Hall, 600 Town Center Parkway, Minnesota 55014, on the
following dates and times:
Monday, March 6, 8am — 8pm
Tuesday, March 7, 8am — 4:30pm
Wednesday, March 8, 8am — 8pm
Thursday, March 9, 8am — 4:30pm
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to help install the new play
structures. Playground installations will be held on a Saturday this summer. Please call the
Parks and Recreation Department at 651 982 -2440 if you are interested in assisting the
installation of playground equipment. By utilizing neighborhood volunteers we are able to
realize approximately 25 percent more equipment than if we had the playground equipment
vendors install the equipment.
It is anticipated to locate the new playground equipment inside the trail loop as depicted on the
enclosed master plan. After the specific structure is selected, we will verify that this is the best
location (based on dimensions, layout). This will be the extent of improvements for
Brandywood Park for the foreseeable future.
Sincerely, o
Rick DeGardner
Public Services Director
RD:sw
sw /rick/Brandywood Park viewing and volunteer residents playground installation.doc
