COUNCIL MINUTES DECEMBER 20, 1999 • Consider Board Appointments — Dan Tesch - Staff advised that each year, the Council is required to consider filing the vacancies that occur on its four advisory boards. Council Member Neal moved to approve the appointment of Pam Tauschuk and Jeff Reinert to the Park and Recreation Board. Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. • • Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the appointment of Jamie Schaps (appointed to fill the remaining 2 years of Donna Carlson's term), Joseph Zych, and Bob Rafferty to the Planning & Zoning Board. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried with Mayor Sullivan voting against. Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the appointment of Rod Kukonen and Teresa O'Connel to the Environmental Board. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the appointment of Rog Schwartz, and Mia Haselman to the Economic Development Advi Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimo Council Member Neal moved to approve the appointme to the Friends of the Lino Lakes Park Foundation. Motion carried unanimously. Consider Approval of LELS Contr was deleted. Consider Resolution 99 - Parish — March 19, approve the applicatio on Sunday, March 19, Julie Jeffrey - ee. Staff indicated the proposed resolution would bingo at the St. Joseph Parish annual Easter Ham Bingo event b'= tween 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Staff recommended approval of Resolution No. 99 - 131. Council Member Neal moved to adopt Resolution No. 99 - 131, as presented. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Approve Exempt Permit for Lawful Gambling — St. Joseph Parish — August 12 and 13, 2000 - Ry -Chel Gaustad. Staff indicated the proposed resolution would approve the application to conduct bingo at the St. Joseph Parish August Festival on Saturday, August 12, 2000 between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday, August 13, 2000 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
