CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JANUARY 19, 2000 <br />Council Member Carlson questioned the need for six (6) special meetings of the Planning <br />and Zoning Board. She questioned the speed of the meetings and the facts that Council <br />was notified after the meetings were scheduled. <br />Staff advised the rezoning should be in place by mid -year. The Planning and Zoning <br />Board discussed the meeting schedule and determined it was appropriate. The <br />information was given to Council as soon as it was received. <br />Council Member Dahl stated all landowners need to be notified. She added she does not <br />like to get information from the Planning and Zoning Board members. Clarity is needed <br />regarding regulations and ordinances. <br />Mayor Bergeson directed staff to send Council appropriate information regarding this <br />issue. He noted Council needs to be respectful of the Planning and Zoning Board. <br />Staff distributed a schedule of EDAC regular meetings and subco :' eetings. The <br />goal is to make a recommendation to the Council regarding the o velopment <br />plan. <br />Council directed the City Administrator to post a C <br />2000 bus tour so Council Members can partici <br />Council Member Dahl requested minu <br />audio taped also. <br />TRAPPERS CROSSIN <br />or the February 26, <br />meetings.
