This item will appear on the agenda at the regular Council meeting Monday, October 25, 1999, 6:30 p.m. UPDATE ON PERMIT PROCEDURES - LINDA WAITE SMITH Staff distributed a memo regarding the Sequence of Events Related to Building Permits. Staff noted that after the storms last summer, the City Council discussed whether permits would be required to repair storm damage at an Emergency Council meeting held on May 16, 1998, and at a Council work session on May 20, 19998. DISCUSS SENIOR CENTER RENTAL Staff advised an organization has contacted the Senior Center about having a weekly meeting there for a fee of $50 per week. The Senior Center would like Council to provide approval for the rental in writing.
