Staff noted the value of the corner the four (4) acre parcel is not significantly higher The next step is f ouncil to determine a sale price for the land. The sale of the land will be formally approved at the June 28, 1999 Council meeting. Council directed staff to determine the amount of money the Legion has already spent on trying to relocate within the City. The Legion will provide a detailed accounting of their relocation costs. Council asked that this information be made available at the next Council work session. Council will then determine a sale price for the former Police Department building site. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, JEFF SMYSER/AL BRIXIUS The Metropolitan Council has agreed to delay their recommendations regarding the Comprehensive Plan until August 23, 1999, with the following conditions: 1. Council will continue to work towards a compromise to obtain a 4/5 vote.
