September 1, 1999 Mr. Rick DeGardner Parks and Recreation Department City of Lino Lakes 600 Town Center Parkway Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014 RE: Behms Century Farm Park Dear Rick, Below please find our proposal for the construction /scope of work for the Behms Park. Estimate /Scope of Work to Include: Provide Engineering Services, Survey services, pro- vide Project Supervision /Management, Clear all areas for Bike Paths /Trails and construction activities, Clear all storm dam- age and downfall, Install all necessary silt fence and erosion control for construction activities, Perform all Park Grading as per Plan dated 8 -31 -99 prepared by John C. Johnson Consult- ants, Inc., including play area, grading for drainage, and till- age of existing soils in all open areas to prepare for seeding, Install Bike Paths /Trails per plan, as per City of Lino Lakes Specification /Detail attached including grading and Class 5 only. Project Estimate - $51,900.00 It is our understanding that the City of Lino Lakes may wish to add work as the Project progresses, and also since the vadue of the work performed may be less than the Project Est- imate, it is agreed that the final cost of the Work performed shall be on a time and materials basis with Invoices provided to the City to cover all work performed as it progresses. Any deviation from the above budget will result in an adjustment to the cash /work allowance budget total agreed upon by the City of Lino Lakes and Century Farm Development.
