• <br />• <br />• <br />BUDGET WORK SESSION <br />DATE <br />TIME STARTED <br />TIME ENDED <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 1997 <br />September 11, 1997 <br />5:45 p.m. <br />5:57 p.m. <br />Council Members Bergeson and Kuether and <br />Mayor Landers <br />Council Members Lyden and Neal <br />Staff members present: Finance Director, Mary Vaske; City Administrator, Randy <br />Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer Marilyn Anderson. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to review the 1998 General Fund Budget. <br />Ms. Vaske noted that a preliminary budget and a preliminary levy w d on <br />Monday, September 8th. The budget did not include provision a d •_< ment for <br />the new civic buildings. Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to adopt Resolution No. 97 - 117A as presented. <br />Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution Nos. 97 - 116A and 97 - 117A can be found attached to these minutes. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that the City received the State's revised figures for the 1998 <br />levy limit and state aid. The 1998 Budget will be updated using the revised figures. <br />Council Member Kuether asked if she could be covered under the City's health insurance <br />program. Ms. Vaske explained that she could. <br />
