Memorandum <br />To: Environmental Board <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: May 31, 2000 <br />Re: Other Updates <br />There are some projects that the Environmental Board has made <br />recommendations on in the past that are now being implemented. <br />In addition to the Clearwater Creek project, Behms and Rice Lake <br />Estates Park will be seeded with native materials in about a week. <br />The Otter Lake Greenway has been planted and seeded with <br />natives as well. The Civic Center Complex has had good <br />germination of the native grasses and forbs. <br />In the Forestry division, Hackberries were planted on the boulevard <br />areas that were included on the last fall contract. Trees that died <br />from last year are being replaced. <br />1 <br />
