<br />:OMPANY HISTORY
<br />Marmon/Keystone Corp. was founded as Keystone Pipe & Supply Co. by
<br />MIliam Horwitz in 1907.
<br />At the time, Keystone was becoming the foremost supplier of pipe to
<br />he oil drilling industry then active in western Pennsylvania. The company
<br />rospered on a regional scale through 1966 when expansion and the
<br />acquisition of Tubular Service Corp. gave Keystone more branches with bet -
<br />ter access to markets in the South and Midwest. Keystone joined The Mar -
<br />mon Group in 1970. The company was known as Keystone Tubular Service
<br />Corp. until 1978 when "Marmon" was added to Keystone's identity.
<br />In 1998, The Marmon Group had revenues in excess of $6 billion. Net
<br />earnings rose by 10 percent to about $348 million. Forbes magazine
<br />ranked The Marmon Group 20th on its list of the largest privately held
<br />companies in the United States.

<br />Marmon/Keystone distributes alloy tubing, aluminum pipe and tub-
<br />ing, toiler tubing, carbon mechanical tubing, carbon steel pipe, chrome -
<br />plated bar, cylinder tubing, J.I.C. hydraulic tubing, NitroSteel bar, petro-
<br />chemical bolting, stainless bar, stainless pipe and tubing, stainless steel
<br />fasteners and structural tubing.

<br />Marmon/Keystone offers processing services including anodizing,
<br />bending, beveling, boring, deaning, drilling, fabricating, grinding, groov-
<br />ing, heat treating, honing, machining, milling, precision cutting, plating,
<br />polishing, punching, tapping, threading and welding.
