November 15, 2000 <br />Gary Uhde <br />Century Farm Development <br />3825 85th Avenue North <br />Brooklyn Park, MN 55433 <br />re: Development of Lots in Behm's Park <br />Dear Gary: <br />As you know, the City agreed in a purchase agreement to sell to you certain property that <br />is currently part of Behm's Park. As described in the attached memo of November 8 to <br />the Council, there are three approvals needed from the City Council: rezoning Lot 13 <br />Block 2 Sunset Oaks to R -1; allocation of 2.55 acres of MUSA reserve to the property to <br />be conveyed; approval of a preliminary plat. At the work session of the City Council on <br />November 8, 2000, staff supported these actions and the City Council directed staff to <br />proceed with the staff recommendation and necessary actions. <br />I will schedule the rezoning and MUSA allocation (comprehensive plan amendment) for <br />the December 13 meeting of the Planning & Zoning Board unless I hear from you not to. <br />We will need the application and fees by Friday, November 24. The normal deadline for <br />the December 13 meeting has passed. However, because of the unique situation and the <br />straightforward nature of the rezoning and MUSA actions, we will have time to process <br />them. <br />We will not schedule the preliminary plat for the same meeting because the time required <br />to review the plat is longer. As long as we get the complete preliminary plat submittal by <br />December 11, we will schedule it for the January 10, 2001 Planning & Zoning Board <br />meeting. <br />I will be the staff handling these actions.
