How adequately does the HEP &CD cover a broad range of environmental <br />conservation efforts? E.g. how does it relate to City's Tree Ordinance? What more is <br />needed on management of non -fire dependent native plant communities? How is <br />DNR natural heritage information incorporated? How can wildlife elements be <br />strengthened (see above)? How are conifer plantations to be conserved and managed? <br />169 -171 Ordinances <br />169 -170 #1. The City is invited work with DNR to upgrade these ordinances to better carry out <br />the policies in this document. <br />171 #2 What does it mean to "re- examine the City's tree preservation standards "? I.e., what <br />direction is the city going in tree preservation? Also, consider a requirement that <br />developers be required to prove that every lot in a proposed subdivision has a <br />building site that is totally suitable for development.
