She also reviewed landscaping, grading/drainage/erosion, utilities, <br />and park dedication elements. Findings of fact are included in the resolution. <br />Mayor Reinert said, while he doesn't generally support the granting of variances, he understands the <br />unique situation with this proposal. Council Member Kusterman concurred; the variance is mirroring <br />what already exists in the area. <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve the First Reading of Ordinance No. 07-14 as presented. <br />Council Member Kusterman seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />6D) Resolution No. 14-71, Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing <br />Advertisemeit for Bids for the 2014 Street Overlay Project - City Engineer Hankee gave an <br />overview of how roads are chosen for the overlay program (using Cartegraph technology). She <br />reviewed a map showing which roads are included for the year. She noted that the budget for this <br />year is higher than usual due to previous year's savings. Projects will begin in early September. It <br />works out well to have the work done later in the season because prices for the work are generally <br />lower. <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 14-71, as presented. Council Member <br />Kustemian seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />6E) Resolution No. 14-72, Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Quotes for <br />the 2014 Surface Water Management Program — City Engineer Hankee reviewed the projects to be <br />included in this year's program and noted the program schedule. <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 14-72 as presented. Council Member <br />Kusterman seconded the motion.
